We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. As a Front-End + Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform on Shopify. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure a seamless and visually appealing online shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify's platform, front-end development skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
An ideal candidate must know how to:
- Build the website front-end.
- Implement new features and functionalities.
- Transform designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates to meet our brand's and business objectives' specific needs.
- Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly online store.
- Customize and extend Shopify's functionalities through app integrations and custom coding.
- Optimize website performance, including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and errors to ensure the smooth functioning of the e-commerce platform.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, new features, and industry best practices to continually improve our online store.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
An Ideal candidate must have:
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify projects.
- Experience with Shopify theme development and customization, including building custom Shopify themes from scratch.
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs, app development, and third-party integrations.
- Experience in developing responsive websites.
- Experience with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
