- Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients via phone, email, and online platforms, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming visits, while ensuring optimal use of the practitioner’s schedule.
- Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and insurance details, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Insurance Verification: Conduct insurance verification and obtain pre-authorizations as needed, communicating effectively with patients regarding their coverage and any financial responsibilities.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence to support the efficient operation of the practice.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, relaying messages and ensuring timely follow-up on patient needs and concerns.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve patient issues or concern promptly and professionally, escalating matters to management when necessary.
- Freshly Graduated or 1+ Years Experienced in Medical Billing.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication.
