Description:
As a Management Trainee Officer (MTO), you will be part of our dynamic team, working closely with seasoned engineers to gain hands-on experience in network administration and engineering, cloud services, and IT operations. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for technology and a desire to build a successful career in the field of computer networks.
Responsibilities:
- Network Configuration and Monitoring:
- Assist senior engineers in configuring and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal network functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related and/or other IT challenges.
- Work on cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to deploy and manage services.
- Learn about cloud architecture, security, and best practices.
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.
- Set a goal to achieve the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Pursue other relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).
- Alert Response and Correspondence:
- Respond promptly to network alerts and incidents.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain clear and concise communication regarding incidents and updates.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience: Basic understanding of computer networks (experience is a plus but not mandatory).
- Certifications: Willingness to pursue CCNA and cloud certifications.
