Outstanding Resource is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Freight Broker (US Logistics & Supply Chain) for one of its client office Based in Gulberg 5, Lahore. In this role, you will take on a key role in managing and expanding our freight brokerage operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the trucking industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with carriers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to junior brokers, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.
- Work closely with customer service teams to enhance client satisfaction, address concerns, and exceed service expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of carriers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their freight requirements, negotiate rates, and provide customized logistics solutions.
- Efficiently match available carriers with customer shipments, negotiate rates, and secure capacity to meet client needs.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while considering market trends, capacity constraints, and client budgets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to make informed business decisions.
- Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation process, ensuring smooth and timely freight movement.
- Ensure all documentation, including contracts, insurance certificates, and permits, is accurate and complies with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker, with a minimum of 1 plus years in a senior or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of the freight brokerage industry, including market trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using freight brokerage software and tools.
