Description:
We’re looking for a Freelance Video Editor to join Bilzam and work with us on client projects.
This is a beginner-friendly, remote, contract-based role. You don't need years of professional experience. What matters most is that you understand the basics of video editing, have a good eye for visuals, and are willing to learn and improve.
Your work may include:
- Editing raw footage into engaging videos
- Cutting and arranging clips to create a smooth story
- Adding transitions, text, graphics, music, and sound effects
- Creating videos for social media and digital platforms
- Following creative briefs and client requirements
- Making revisions based on feedback
- Maintaining consistent quality and branding
- Managing your assigned work and meeting agreed deadlines
- Collaborating with our team remotely
What We’re Looking For
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
- Basic understanding of transitions, pacing, audio, and visual storytelling
- Willingness to learn motion graphics and improve editing skills
- Understanding of common social media formats such as 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1
- Good attention to detail
- Creativity and willingness to experiment
- Ability to communicate and work remotely
- Ability to complete assigned work within agreed deadlines
- A portfolio, showreel, personal projects, university projects, or sample edits demonstrating your skill
