Flutter Developer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Flutter Developer located in Lahore. The Flutter Developer will be responsible for implementing real-time chat functionality and live location/map updates within our mobile applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience building Flutter apps with real-time communication and map-based features, similar to those used in apps like Uber, Careem, or Bolt.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and maintain high-performance Flutter applications with real-time chat functionality using technologies like WebSockets, Firebase, or similar solutions.

✅ Integrate real-time location tracking and live map updates using platforms like Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.

✅ Build scalable and responsive mobile UIs adhering to modern design principles.

✅ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless real-time features.

✅ Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and low-latency real-time updates.

✅ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

✅ Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring app stability across different devices.

✅ Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Flutter, real-time communication, and map technologies.

Qualifications

Proven experience developing mobile applications using Flutter & Dart.

✔ Strong understanding of real-time communication technologies such as:

• WebSockets
• Firebase Realtime Database / Firestore
• MQTT or similar protocols
• ✔ Hands-on experience with live location tracking and map integrations using:
• Google Maps SDK
• Mapbox
• Real-time location updates similar to Uber, Careem, etc.
• ✔ Solid knowledge of state management approaches (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.).
• ✔ Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• ✔ Experience in deploying apps to both iOS and Android platforms.
• ✔ Understanding of mobile app performance optimization and debugging techniques.
• ✔ Ability to write clean, modular, and testable code.
• ✔ Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
