We have been engaged to provide accounting and bookkeeping services for a group of schools which has branches across the main cities of Punjab, Pakistan.

Location of Roles: While the roles will predominantly be based out of the Head office which is in EME Housing Society in Lahore, there will however be a need to travel to the various cities which at this stage include Multan, Faisalabad and Pindi. Company will make travel and accommodation arrangements where required.

Fixed Assets & Inventory Accountant:

The role will be responsible for complete inventory accounting and control activities across the schools. Activities from booking the receipt of inventory to it’s valuation and consumption as well as month-end valuation and physical controls are key deliverables for this role. Similar accountabilities will be required across the Fixed Assets including tagging, maintaining of Fixed Assets Register, physical control, month end depreciation etc. will be expected.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ICMA, ACCA, CA) with at least 2 years of experience having great MS Office skills in general and MS Excel skills in particular. Exposure to inventory and Fixed Assets Management will be an added plus. Previous exposure to ERP would carry weight.

Package: Pkr 40,000 plus for the right candidate

Accounts Receivable & Collections Accountant:

The role will be responsible for the daily accounting and reconciliation of the fees across the schools. He/She will be working very closely with the Campus Managers to ensure that there is complete accountability and control over the fees receivables and their collection. The accountant will be required to perform daily reconciliation with the collection accounts and ensure that the daily collection is correctly posted into the accounting system. Daily, weekly, monthly closures and required follow ups with the Campus managers will be important as will be the ability to understand and maintain control over the cash and other transactions that happen at the campuses daily.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ICMA, ACCA, CA) with at least 2 years of experience having great MS Office skills in general and MS Excel skills in particular. Ability to focus and work under pressure is required. Previous exposure to ERP would carry weight.

Package: Pkr 40,000 plus for the right candidate
