Financial Planning & Analysis (fp&a) Analyst

Description:

Arthur Lawrence is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for a U.S.-based client. This night-shift role requires advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to translate data into actionable business insights.

You will collaborate closely with client teams during night hours aligned with Central Time Zone (CST), ensuring seamless financial operations and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including variance analysis.
• Conduct SG&A and cost analysis, project/department profitability reports.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models, dashboards, and templates.
• Assist in preparing management presentations and review decks.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business teams to provide actionable insights.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CA-Intermediate or ACCA-finalist required.
• 4–6 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or management reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, Pivot Tables, dashboards), Power Query basics.
• Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and accounting principles (accrual/cash).
• Strong English communication, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
