Finance Executive

Description:

Wackenhut Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Finance Executive - Taxation at its Head-Office (Karachi based).

Role and Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of corporate and GST returns, payments, reports, and maintenance of the company’s tax database.

• Assist in Managing the payment of weekly and monthly withholding taxes and submission of tax returns.

• Monitor and ensure the timely payment of tax liabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data for tax calculations and reporting.

• Gather necessary data for tax provision and compliance purposes from finance and execution teams.

• Maintain through documentation / GL for all tax related transactions and process the same for submission to regulatory authorities at the time of Tax Monitoring / Audit / Proceedings.

• Reconcile every transaction appearing in the General Ledger with that filed in sales tax and income tax returns.

• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

• Assist Manager Taxation in developing and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.

• Assist Manager Tax in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

Experience

Having accounting degree such as MBA Finance or at-least B.Com and having worked in similar capacity for at-least 3 years.
