Job Title: Fabric Consumption Master – Retail Sector
📍 Location: Empress Road, Lahore | 🕒 Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately calculate fabric consumption for new and existing styles across all product categories.
Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure fabric requirements meet design intent and cost targets.
Monitor fabric efficiency and suggest improvements to reduce wastage.
Maintain updated fabric consumption records and reports for sampling and bulk production.
Support cost negotiations with suppliers by providing accurate fabric yield data.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in fabric consumption or garment technical roles (preferably in the retail or apparel sector).
Strong knowledge of fabric types, GSM, shrinkage, and marker planning.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of CAD systems (Gerber/Optitex) is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
