Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Export Merchandiser Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the merchandising department in handling export operations, product development, and client communications for our bedding and towel product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, sampling, and production of home textile products (bed linen, towels, etc.).
- Coordinate with buyers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure timely order execution.
- Prepare and maintain export documentation, order sheets, and shipment schedules.
- Monitor production progress and ensure quality and compliance with buyer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with international clients regarding product specifications, timelines, and shipments.
- Support the senior merchandiser in daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Follow up on export orders, logistics, and delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–4 years of experience in export merchandising, preferably in the home textiles (bedding and towels) industry.
- Strong understanding of export procedures, costing, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
