•Responsible for developing new business opportunities by sourcing new client’s opportunities.
• Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall procedures and goals for newly acquired accounts.
• Networks with industry contacts through trade shows and international footwear industry associations.
• Generates ideas about export activities to ensure a cutting edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the export market place, competitors and trends.
• Works with the team to influence the creation and communication of company strategy, business priorities and targets for the production teams and ensures there are systems in place to enable the export manager to receive the information in a timely manner.
• Uses open feedback mechanisms from the export team with other departments to ensure the integration of the business strategy with Minds’ other activities.
• Takes decisions on matters relating to the day to day export operation within their defined work area including the strategic planning of resources.
• Translates the strategic goals into Export plans to achieve the required targeted growth in Sales and profit.
