Expert Upwork Business Developer Lead

 

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Upwork Business Developer who knows how to win high-ticket projects and build long-term client relationships.

 

This is not a junior or learning role. We need someone who understands Upwork deeply and can consistently bring in $5k–$50k+ projects.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Identify and apply to high-quality Upwork jobs aligned with our services (Web, UI/UX, SaaS, AI/ML, Full-Stack)

Write custom, high-converting proposals (no copy-paste bidding)

Communicate with prospects, qualify requirements, and close deals

Handle follow-ups and manage active client conversations

Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project handover

Focus on long-term, retainer, and high-value contracts

 

 

Requirements

 

3+ years of proven experience as an Upwork Business Developer

Strong understanding of:

Proposal strategy & client psychology

Upwork bidding, boosting, and profile positioning

Experience working with $5k–$50k+ project budgets

Excellent written English communication

Ability to qualify clients based on budget, scope, and seriousness

Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven

 

 

Must Have

 

Experience selling UI/UX, SaaS, AI, and Full-Stack services

Background working with agencies

Experience handling multiple Upwork profiles
