Roles and Responsibilities

1. Estimation and Cost Analysis:

§ Conduct detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and associated expenses.

§ Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost assessments.

§ Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.

2. Bid Preparation:

§ Prepare competitive and timely bid proposals for prospective clients.

§ Research and source materials, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.

§ Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.

3. Budget Management:

§ Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase.

§ Provide ongoing cost analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

§ Collaborate with project teams to address any budget variances and propose solutions.

4. Industry Knowledge:

§ Stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and advancements in construction materials.

§ Utilize market knowledge to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

1. Education and Experience:

§ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/or a related field.

§ Proven experience as an Interior Fit Out Estimator in the same industry.

2. Skills:

§ Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

§ Proficient in estimation software and tools like Planswift etc.

§ Excellent communication and negotiation skills & attention to detail and accuracy.

3. Team Collaboration:

§ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

§ Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

4. Adaptability:

• § Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
