Erpnext Full‑stack Developer

Description:

Exalt Solutions is partnering with a client to customize their existing ERPNext deployment. We’re seeking a full‑stack developer on a one‑month contract to implement a set of predefined customizations as detailed in the project scope. Your responsibilities will include:

Customization Implementation: Deliver targeted front‑end and back‑end enhancements to the client’s ERPNext system — including customizing the candidate certificate portal, building dashboards and reports, configuring pop‑ups/reminders, and creating print formats.

Integration & Bug Fixes: Integrate external services (e.g., e‑signature, document storage) into ERPNext and resolve both UI and backend issues affecting system functionality.

Collaboration: Partner closely with our project manager and the ERPNext back‑end developer to ensure cohesive delivery of all scope items, adhering to timeline and quality expectations.

Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, maintainable code that conforms to ERPNext/Frappe coding guidelines.

This role requires a minimum of 1 year of highly relevant experience in making both front-end and back-end customizations to open‑source solutions.

Core Competencies

• Full‑Stack Proficiency: Strong skills in Python (along with knowledge of the Frappe framework) and JavaScript (Node.js v18+, yarn v1.12+) along with HTML/CSS for UI customizations.
• Database Management: Practical experience with MariaDB and Frappe’s query builder or DB APIs.
• Integration & Automation: Hands‑on experience connecting third‑party APIs and scripting automated workflows.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for branching, merging, and collaboration.
• UI/UX Customization: Demonstrated ability to build intuitive ERPNext portals, dashboards, forms, and print formats.
• Agile Development Practices: Exposure to agile methodologies for efficient collaboration, and proven experience in meeting tight project deadlines.
• This role requires a minimum of 1 year of highly relevant experience in making both front-end and back-end customizations to open‑source solutions.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization for deployment
• Prior integration experience with tools like Jibble or Google Drive APIs
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
