Environmental Analyst

Description:

STEPS Environmental Laboratory requires the services of an Environmental Laboratory Analyst/Chemist, based in Mardan, KP. Selected candidate will be inducted with the following responsibilities:

- Perform routine chemical and biological tests in accordance with specified procedures.

- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, stains, and media in order to perform a variety of routine laboratory tests.

- Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports of test results.

- Collect samples of water and wastewater from a variety of locations.

- Assemble, operate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.

- Maintain a variety of records and assist in the preparation of reports and summaries of test and results.

- Input data, validate input, and check results via computer and other automated systems.

- Test, clean, program, and operate automatic air sampling equipment.

Qualifications:
- BS Environmental Sciences /BSc with Chemistry/MSc Chemistry/MS (Chemistry) from a recognized and reputed institute.

- Well versed with Microsoft Office applications.

- Verbal and written communication skills required.

- Electronic communication capability is also a must.
