Embedded System Engineer

Description:

OX Electronics is looking for motivated Embedded System/Software Engineer for its Islamabad offshoot.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and develop embedded software
• Coordinate with hardware development team(s)
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor of Electrical / Telecom / Computer Engineering or equivalent degree

Desired Profile:

• Microcontroller programming and firmware development skills
• Experience in C programming for embedded systems
• Experience with ARM based microcontrollers
• Good understanding of electronic circuits and schematics
• Ability and willingness to work independently without constant supervision
• Self-discipline and intrinsic motivation for design and development activities as well as solving new problems that push you outside your comfort zone
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset and “can-do” attitude
• Good programming skills
• Detail oriented
Nice to have:
• 2 - 3 years of experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Experience with RTOS
• Participation in robotics competitions or similar activities
