Job Summary

The Electrician (DAE Holder) is responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, panels, motors, and control circuits.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults in production machines and utilities.

• Ensure proper functioning of MCC panels, DBs, breakers, contactors, relays, and VFDs.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and ensure system reliability.

• Maintain electrical tools and ensure proper use of safety equipment.

• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, electrical codes, and statutory requirements.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and breakdown reports.

• Support installation and commissioning of new machines or electrical systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• DAE (Electrical) / Diploma in Electrical Technology (mandatory).

• Minimum 2–5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, PLC basics, and control panels.

• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical regulations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns.

• Good understanding of industrial safety practices.

• Team player with effective communication skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts and during emergencies if required.
