Ehs Advisor

Description:

Rafhan Maize, an affiliate of Ingredion Incorporated, is seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with EHS guidelines, and effective risk management. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about safety, hazard prevention, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive training plan for different elements of the Ingredion EHSS Management System.

• Conduct plant audits and Gemba walkarounds, stopping any unsafe activity and providing safety awareness talks.

• Implement and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.

• Report all incidents as per EHS Management System (EHS-MS) guidelines.

• Identify and eliminate workplace hazards to ensure a safe working environment.

• Conduct accident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.

• Ensure conformance to sustainability and environmental regulations.

Mandatory Requirements:

• EHS Certifications: NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certifications.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in an EHS role.

• English fluency (written and spoken).

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in EHS compliance and safety management.

• Working knowledge of EHS compliance standards.

• Additional language proficiency is a plus.
