We are seeking a highly organized and skilled E-book Formatter and Publisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the formatting, publishing, and final delivery of e-books, ensuring high-quality output and successful project completion. You will work closely with authors, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production and distribution of e-books.

Responsibilities:

• Format manuscripts for various e-book platforms, ensuring proper layout, structure, and compatibility with e-book formats.

• Provide feedback to authors and assist with refining content to meet publishing standards.

• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, scope, and deliverables, ensuring smooth execution from manuscript to final publication.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and define objectives.

• Upload and publish e-books on digital platforms (e.g., Amazon Kindle, Ingram Spark, Kobo, Apple Books, Google Play Books etc.) and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.

• Ensure the final product adheres to high-quality standards, checking for errors in formatting, layout, and metadata.

• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in formatting and publishing e-books for various platforms.

• Proficient in digital content creation tools, e-book formats, and publishing software.

• Knowledge of e-book platforms and familiarity with digital publishing trends.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Solid understanding of copyright laws, contracts, and intellectual property rights in the publishing industry is a plus.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
