Axelliant, a rapidly expanding IT services company specializing in cloud and managed IT solutions for North American clients, is seeking an experienced Director of Managed Services to lead and oversee the delivery of key managed service offerings. This leadership role demands a seasoned professional capable of managing large-scale cloud environments and infrastructure remotely, ensuring exceptional service delivery aligned with client expectations and business goals.

The Director will spearhead operational excellence in managing Microsoft 365 environments, Azure and AWS cloud platforms, and Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM). This role also involves close collaboration with sales teams to drive business growth through Statement of Work (SOW) creation, pricing strategies, and SLA/KPI compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the managed services team to deliver high-quality Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS cloud solutions to North American clients.

• Oversee Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) operations, ensuring optimal system uptime, security, and performance.

• Manage SLA (Service Level Agreements) and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) tracking to maintain ITIL-based operational standards.

• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to enable sales strategies, prepare SOWs, and develop competitive pricing models.

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to offshore teams, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

• Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring transparent communication and proactive issue resolution.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, certifications, and industry best practices to guide the team effectively.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in IT and Managed Services, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership or management roles.

• Proven track record of managing and delivering IT services to North American clients from offshore locations.

• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 environments and cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.

• Solid understanding and application of ITIL v4 principles in service management.

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 certifications are mandatory.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams distributed geographically.
