Digital Product & Growth Coordinator

Description:

My UK Hub is an established UK-based parcel forwarding, consolidation and fulfilment business serving international consumers and overseas SMEs.

Our customers use our UK address to receive purchases and business shipments. We provide parcel receiving, storage, consolidation, repacking, international shipping, returns handling and other UK-based support services.

Having successfully operated and tested the business model for several years, we are now launching Project Atlas: a structured programme to strengthen our digital platform, improve the customer experience, expand our SME services and create a scalable growth model.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business and Process Analysis

·      Develop a detailed understanding of My UK Hub’s existing consumer and SME services.

·      Review the complete customer journey, from registration and parcel receipt through consolidation, payment, shipping, returns and customer support.

·      Map current business processes and recommend practical future-state improvements.

·      Gather requirements from the Founder, operational staff and other stakeholders.

·      Identify operational inefficiencies, customer pain points and opportunities for automation.

·      Convert business needs into structured priorities and actionable workstreams.

2. Website and Platform Development

·      Conduct a structured audit of the existing website, customer portal and administrative processes.

·      Recommend which areas should be improved immediately, and which should form part of later development phases.

·      Define a realistic minimum viable product and phased development roadmap.

·      Prepare clear Business Requirements Documents and Software Requirements Specifications.

·      Produce user stories, process flows, functional requirements and acceptance criteria where appropriate.

·      Consider the requirements of consumers, SME customers, operational staff and administrators.

·      Document relevant integrations, reporting, security, payment and data requirements.

·      Ensure that business requirements are understood correctly before development begins.

3. Developer Selection and Management

·      Prepare professional briefs and requests for proposals for website and software developers.

·      Research and shortlist suitable development companies or freelancers.

·      Obtain and compare proposals based on functionality, technical approach, cost, timescale, support and long-term maintainability.

·      Help the Founder make an informed developer-selection decision.

·      Coordinate development activities, meetings, milestones and deliverables.

·      Monitor agreed timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and outstanding decisions.

·      Organise user acceptance testing and document defects or required changes.

·      Verify that completed work meets the agreed business requirements before recommending approval.

4. Growth and Commercial Support

·      Research opportunities to grow My UK Hub’s consumer and SME customer base.

·      Help develop and clearly present new services, particularly UK fulfilment, returns handling, storage, consolidation and distribution services for overseas businesses.

·      Support the creation of website landing pages, service descriptions and customer propositions.

·      Review customer data and behaviour to identify opportunities for reactivation, retention, referrals and increased usage.

·      Develop simple, measurable growth experiments and track their performance.

·      Build and maintain a structured pipeline of potential SME customers.

·      Help establish practical performance indicators covering enquiries, conversion, active customers, repeat usage, revenue and service performance.

·      Marketing knowledge—including SEO, content, email campaigns, social media, conversion optimisation or paid advertising—is beneficial but not essential. Specialist marketing work may be supported through external resources and AI platforms.

5. Planning and Reporting

·      Maintain a prioritised Project Atlas roadmap and implementation plan.

·      Prepare a clear weekly progress report covering completed work, upcoming activities, decisions required, risks and budget considerations.

·      Organise a structured weekly meeting with the Founder.

·      Maintain accurate documentation, action logs and decision records.

·      Take responsibility for following actions through to completion without requiring daily supervision.
