Devops Engineer Azure

Description:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (Azure) that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the CTO/ technical leads to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company. You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you’ll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
• Build and maintain highly available production systems.
• Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software.
• Enhance the company’s IT infrastructure security protocols.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated.
• Consider the organization’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements.
• Maintain and improve the company’s cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and own the CI.
• Manage CD tooling.

Required Skills:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 2.5 to 3 Years of proven experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configuration and managing databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Mongo.
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile Principles.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and implementation in a cloud environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
