Devops Engineer

Description:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies to automate provisioning and configuration.

Containerization and Orchestration: Proficient in Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration to streamline deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud, to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others to automate the software delivery process.

Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure the health, performance, and security of the infrastructure and applications.

Security Best Practices: Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure, applications, and development processes.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to facilitate a smooth and efficient development-to-production workflow.

Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and work towards minimizing downtime.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, especially AWS and Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, server management, and cluster technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, or Ruby).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
