Devops Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating software delivery, managing cloud infrastructure, improving system reliability, and optimizing deployment processes.

You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to design scalable infrastructure, implement Infrastructure as Code, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and lead end-to-end projects while mentoring junior engineers.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• 𝐂𝐈/𝐂𝐃 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬: Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software testing, integration, and deployment.

• 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 & 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system performance, availability, and reliability.

• 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Configure and maintain development, staging, and production environments.

• 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Diagnose complex build, deployment, and infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.

• 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Manage containerized applications and support scalable deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Implement infrastructure security best practices, including IAM policies, secrets management, access controls, and system patching.

• 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Lead end-to-end DevOps projects, make technical decisions, improve engineering processes, and mentor junior engineers.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

• 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 8–10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related role.

• 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬: Strong practical experience with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞: Hands-on experience with tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC solutions.

• 𝐂𝐈/𝐂𝐃 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬: Experience configuring and optimizing pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Proficiency in Docker, including Dockerfiles, image management, and Docker Compose. Practical Kubernetes experience is preferred, particularly for containerized production environments.

• 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, for automation.

• 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥: Strong understanding of Git workflows, including branching, merging, and pull requests.

• 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 & 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and production troubleshooting.
