Description:
A prestigious national customer of SolBizTech requires a highly capable DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical software and infrastructure environments. We are looking for a resource who can work closely with Development Teams and Production/Operations Teams and help build a practical DevOps culture across multiple technologies and regions.
This role is ideal for a professional who can bridge the gap between software development and live operations, and can manage deployment, automation, monitoring, server reliability, and environment standardization for enterprise applications.
Role Purpose
The selected candidate will support and improve the delivery and operations of multiple platforms including .NET, WordPress, and Odoo, while working on production and non-production environments for:
- Application Servers
- Database Servers
- Reporting Servers
- Reverse Proxy Servers
- Git / Source Control Servers
The resource should be able to manage deployments, reduce operational gaps, improve coordination between teams, and introduce better release, monitoring, backup, recovery, and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Development, QA, and Production teams for smooth deployments and stable live operations
- Manage application deployment across development, staging, testing, and production environments
- Support .NET, WordPress, Odoo, and other business applications in multi-server environments
- Administer and troubleshoot application servers, database servers, reverse proxy servers, reporting servers, and Git servers
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and release processes
- Automate routine technical and operational tasks through scripts and tools
- Monitor server health, application performance, logs, alerts, and uptime
- Support backup, restoration, disaster recovery readiness, and production issue resolution
- Implement deployment discipline, version control standards, rollback plans, and operational SOPs
- Coordinate with multi-region and multi-technology teams to ensure service continuity
- Help establish a DevOps culture based on collaboration, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Proven experience in DevOps, Deployment Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Production Support
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments
- Practical experience with Git, CI/CD, reverse proxy, databases, and production deployments
- Exposure to .NET, WordPress, and Odoo environments will be strongly preferred
- Good understanding of Nginx, Apache, IIS, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or MS SQL Server
- Experience with scripting, automation, monitoring, backup, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Docker, virtualization, or cloud environments will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
