Description:
Simpaisa – a Fintech company is offering a full-time position as a DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate can expect to gain a broad range of experience. We are looking for DevOps Engineer who play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implement and manage Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to ensure high availability and performance.
- Utilize tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure as code to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements and optimize workflows.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams to achieve faster and more reliable software delivery.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
- Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools
- Understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
