Devops Architect

Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer interested in the management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications across various sites/software, web, mobile and data infrastructure platforms. You will be responsible for architecting new technology infrastructures, establish deployment strategies, maintain configuration management and automation tools. You will conduct research, tests, and implements new metrics collection systems across the technology stack that can be reused and applied. Building a stable product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Skills

• Experienced in automating and managing large-scale infrastructure.
• Significant familiarity with Puppet.
• Vast experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation.
• Experienced using Jenkins and Linux as well as experienced in configuring and automating monitoring tools.
• Experienced in software development.
• Experienced working with tools and languages such as MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, SaaS, Git, Python, Shell scripting, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experienced in infrastructure automation using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Can work with tools like Chef for configuration management is a plus.
• Can work with tools like Splunk for log management is a plus.
• Experienced in performance management and monitoring using tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, Nagios or any other.
• Result oriented individual, be helpful in nature, be self-motivated, be proactive going beyond the call of duty and ability to remain calm.
• Must keep up with industry best practices and transfer knowledge to peers.
