JOB SUMMARY:
- J2EE Developer with a focus on JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Portlets, and Angular.
- Develop/Maintain solutions on JSP-based Web Technologies.
- Develop/Maintain angular components.
- Work closely with other developers and business analysts to build required features.
- Ensure code quality adheres to best practices and optimized performance benefits.
- Debug and unit test the code.
- Log analysis and application troubleshooting.
- Handle support requests and development requests.
- Maintain the functionality of the existing application after implementing code changes.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- J2EE, JSP, and Angular Developer.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- HCL Digital Experience (formerly known as IBM WebSphere Portal), REST API development and support, Bootstrap, and Figma.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a J2EE Developer.
- Good problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working with J2EE, JSP, JSTL, EJB, Servlet, Portlet, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular.
- Good understanding of CSS.
- Experience and good understanding of GitHub.
- Experience in applying best practices to improve page performance.
- Good understanding of the MVC Architecture.
- Basic understanding of IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Basic understanding of Oracle Database and DB queries.
