Daira Engineering proudly invites ambitious and passionate engineering graduates to join its Design & Manufacturing Trainee Program, an exclusive opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. This comprehensive onsite program is carefully structured to equip trainees with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in CNC machining, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and advanced engineering simulation, laying a strong foundation for a successful engineering career.

Program Structure & Learning Opportunities:
The 3-month program begins with 1 month of intensive industry training, where trainees will familiarize themselves with the operational aspects of CNC milling and lathe machines, learning the fundamentals of machining processes essential in modern manufacturing. Following this, a 2-month paid internship allows trainees to apply their acquired skills on live projects, collaborate with seasoned engineers, and gain valuable professional experience.

Key Technical Skills You Will Develop:

• CNC Milling & Lathe Operations: Master the programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling and lathe machines, critical for precision manufacturing.

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Learn to optimize designs for efficient production, cost reduction, and improved product quality by considering manufacturing constraints from the design phase.

• Engineering Analysis & Simulation: Use cutting-edge software tools to perform structural, thermal, and mechanical simulations, validating designs against real-world scenarios to ensure reliability and safety.

Software & Tools Exposure:
Trainees will gain proficiency in industry-leading software, including:

• SolidWorks for 3D CAD modeling and detailed engineering design.

• Fusion 360 for integrated CAD, CAM, and CAE workflows, facilitating seamless design to manufacturing transitions.

• ANSYS and Abaqus for advanced finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation, enabling precise prediction of product behavior under various conditions.
