Deputy Manager

Description:

Transworld Home, a premium internet and connectivity solutions provider, is actively hiring a Deputy Manager – Access Operations to lead its FTTX network operations in Karachi. This role is designed for a results-oriented professional who excels at managing end-to-end fiber network operations, optimizing service performance, and leading technical teams.

As a key player in the Operations Department, you will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, SLA compliance, timely fault resolutions, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with hands-on experience in fiber deployment and maintenance, strong leadership capabilities, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire FTTX access network operations ensuring service uptime and performance

• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key operational metrics including Turnaround Time (TAT) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)

• Lead analysis of network complaints and implement permanent solutions to minimize recurring issues

• Plan and execute new FTTX network rollouts, including route planning and deployment oversight

• Motivate, guide, and monitor field teams to achieve high operational performance

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely service delivery

• Schedule shifts and manage workforce logistics for 24/7 network monitoring and support

• Monitor operational processes and recommend improvements for enhanced service quality

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FTTX operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

• Strong analytical and team leadership skills

• Excellent communication and vendor management capabilities

• Hands-on knowledge of fiber network topologies, splicing, testing, and active network components
