Data Scientist

Description:

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Scientist to join our team. This is a remote, commission-based role focused on computational and analytical projects. You will collaborate with our core team (Bioinformatician, Microbiologist, Biotechnologist, AI/Data Scientist) on tasks such as:

Analyzing biological, genomic, and biomedical datasets

Building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards

Applying statistical models and machine learning for research insights

Supporting research collaborations with academia and startups

Contributing to publications, reports, and grant proposals

Qualifications

Proficiency in data analysis using Python, R, or similar tools

Hands-on experience with databases and bioinformatics datasets (e.g., GEO, Human Protein Atlas, DrugBank)

Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data visualization

Research-oriented mindset with ability to contribute to publications

Strong teamwork and remote communication skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related fields

Preferred but not required: Experience with AI/ML applications in biology or drug discovery
