Data Scientist

Dependibot Solutions is actively seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Data Scientist to join our growing team in Islamabad. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to turn raw data into strategic insights that directly impact the company’s direction and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analytics, advanced programming skills, and experience with machine learning and data visualization tools.

As a Data Scientist, you will be collaborating across departments to design robust models, uncover hidden patterns, and present your findings in visually compelling formats to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets from various sources

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover trends, correlations, and anomalies

• Develop and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand objectives and build data-driven solutions

• Translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers

• Build interactive dashboards and compelling visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Dash

• Continuously evaluate model performance and iterate for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or predictive modeling

• Proficiency in Python or R and strong experience in SQL for data querying

• Strong understanding of machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Keras

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Dash

• In-depth knowledge of statistics, algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques

• Familiarity with cloud-based AI tools (e.g., DataRobot) is considered a plus

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex data findings

• A proactive and collaborative mindset with a passion for using data to solve real-world problems
