As a Data Science Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team by extracting, cleaning, and transforming data; building prototype models using Python; deploying data pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS; and experimenting with generative AI through large language model (LLM) prompts. You’ll have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to ongoing projects, and explore the applications of artificial intelligence in modern data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data using SQL.

• Build and test prototype machine learning models using Python.

• Assist in deploying data pipelines and models on AWS infrastructure.

• Explore and experiment with prompt engineering for LLMs to improve model explainability and user interaction.

• Support the team in data visualization, documentation, and presenting model insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong command of SQL for querying and transforming data.

• Proficient in Python, with a good understanding of its application in data science and machine learning.

• Basic familiarity with AWS core services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, SageMaker) is preferred.

• Genuine curiosity and interest in Generative AI technologies and their applications.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn and grow.

Location Requirement:
This is a Karachi-based internship. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Karachi for the duration of the internship.
