We are looking for a skilled Data Moderator to join our research team, focusing on the regions of Matiari and Qambar Shahdadkot. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community-based research and data collection, with a specific emphasis on working within local cultural contexts.

Role Overview:

The Data Moderator will be instrumental in conducting in-depth interviews, ensuring the collection of high-quality audio, comprehensive notes, and relevant photographs. Your contributions will be crucial in providing accurate and valuable data, directly impacting our research goals and broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting field interviews (Focused Group Discussions) and collecting data within the Matiari and Qambar Shahdadkot regions.
• Collecting quality audio recordings, detailed notes, and relevant photographs from each interview.
• Acquiring consent and demographic information from participants.
• Maintaining high ethical standards and participant confidentiality.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Fluent in Sindhi, capable of effectively communicating and conducting interviews in the language.

Qualifications:

• Experience in field research or data collection.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Sindhi essential.
• Independent travel capability within designated regions.
• Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
• Basic photography skills and proficiency in recording equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma; additional education or certifications in research methodologies preferred.
