Data Engineer

Description:

Symufolk is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will work on Azure-based platforms to build scalable data pipelines, support data governance, and deliver high-quality data solutions in an Agile environment.

💼 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
🔹Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines and API integrations
🔹 Analyse data sources and convert business needs into technical solutions
🔹Design and review data models and maintain data standards
🔹 Support Data Governance (Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary)
🔹Collaborate with Platform Architect and cross-functional teams
🔹Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security

🎯 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭-𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
1️⃣ 3–5 years of experience in Azure data environments
2️⃣ Hands-on with ADF / Synapse, Azure SQL, Spark, and Delta tables
3️⃣ Experience with REST APIs and databases (Cosmos DB preferred)
4️⃣ Strong DML and CI/CD knowledge
5️⃣ Fluent English, strong communication, and problem-solving skills
