Data Engineer

10Native is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure that enable our organization to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming systems.
• Implement data integrations from APIs, databases, and file-based sources.
• Optimize storage and retrieval systems for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with data scientists & analysts to understand data needs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance policies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline reliability and performance.
• Implement automated testing & CI/CD processes for data systems.
• Document data architectures, workflows, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

✅ 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.

✅ Strong skills in Python, SQL, and/or Java/Scala.

✅ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

✅ Proficiency with big data technologies: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.

✅ Knowledge of data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

✅ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow.

✅ Strong understanding of database design & optimization.

✅ Familiarity with Git for version control.

Nice to Have

✨ Master’s degree in a relevant field.

✨ Experience with real-time data streaming & MLOps.

✨ Cloud or data engineering certifications.

✨ Knowledge of data governance & security best practices.

✨ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
