We are urgently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Karachi, PECHS. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SQL stored procedures, queries, and performance tuning.
- Build and manage ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources such as SQL, DB2, MySQL, Azure Blob, and APIs.
- Design and optimize data models to meet business requirements.
- Transition legacy SSRS reporting systems to Power BI for modernized reporting.
- Work with tools such as SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or MS Fabric.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in SQL development, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure core services, including Logic Apps and Azure Functions, is a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and Agile methodologies (e.g., Atlassian JIRA).
- Proficiency in Git and deployment automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver scalable data solutions.
