Description:
THE ROLE: You will be responsible for building scalable and robust solutions using well-defined software development methodologies with a focus on our global customers. You will actively be participating in the design, development, integration, testing and support of our product platforms.
SKILLSET/EXPERTISE: We are looking for candidates having 5+ years of experience with the following skill set:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in big data or data engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of technology users.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data factory, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica or Talend
- Experience of data warehousing modelling and design.
- Strong understanding of data integration and transformation processes
- Deep knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server, ORACLE, DB2 etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support.
- Working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams.
- Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Produce efficient code based on requirements.
- Designing and prototype applications
- Collaborate with IT and business users.
- Create test script for new application.
- Support existing and new applications.
- Create migration script to deploy application to production environment.
- Troubleshot application issue.
- Train business users about new created application.
- Document application functionality for business user reference.
- Review existing application performance and improve the code if needed.
