Customer Service Engineer – Networks And Security

Description:

• Provide subject matter expertise in one or more areas of network technology, including Spine Leaf Architecture, Routing / Switching, network security, MPLS, BGP, and Data Center architecture.
• Lead projects to define and implement network infrastructure in support of business needs.
• Provide expertise in two or more of the following products / technologies and/or platforms: Huawei, Cisco, F5, Solarwind, fortinet, Sophos, Kaspersky, Spine / Leaf designs, BGP/OSPF/Eigrp routing protocols, routing/switching, Software
• Define networks, LAN / WAN configurations, application delivery controllers, data center switching and converged networks, MPLS/ VPLS, VXLAN, MLAG, HA and resiliency architectures.
• Create BOQ of Cisco/Huawei/HPE/Fortinet/SOPHOS through (CCW, SCT, IRIS) configurator tools and design the network & security solutions as per standard and customer budget.
• Perform network and security (penetration testing) audit for customers. Analyze the loopholes, identified issues and share the report with recommendation to them.
• Architecture/designed the most complex solutions of Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, SOPHOS, Solarwind, HPE, Kaspersky including Low (LLD) and High-Level Designs (HLD).
• Perform project risk analysis based on technical elements and implement mitigations plans.
• Diagnose and correlate complex network problems, identify root causes and develop remediation strategies.
• Configure network devices, including routers, switches, firewall, load balances, IPS/IDS, wireless controllers and access point in a highly available clinical environment.
• Perform trending analysis for chronic issue resolution and remediates escalated network issues.
• Analyze converged network traffic and reports to management on results.

Skills and certifications:

• CCIE / HCIE/ F5/ certification preferred 
• Knowledge in layer two and layer three routing and switching 
• Knowledge/understanding of configuring and deploying network switches and routers including adding VLANs and routing protocols (including TCP/IP, BGP, and Multicast) 
• Experience with design, provisioning, and troubleshooting of WAN and LAN connectivity technologies (i.e. MPLS, LACP) 
• Knowledge/familiarity in creating ACLs, TCP/IP sub-netting, and VLAN trunking 
• Knowledge/familiarity of Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS), and Quality of Service (QoS) 
• Knowledge/familiarity with network monitoring solutions 
• Knowledge/familiarity with WAN/Optical technologies a plus 
• Knowledge/familiarity with managing DNS/DHCP/IPAM a plus 
• Knowledge/familiarity with SDN/Network automation preferred 
• Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRRP, EVPN) 
• WAN technologies (IPsec, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPLS) 
• Other protocols such as 802.1q, 802.1x, 802.11, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, TACACS+, QoS 
• Policy configurations on Next-Generation Firewalls 
• Load Balancer configurations (F5) and creating iRules 
• TCP/IP protocol operations and packet structure
