The ideal candidate will focus on developing and maintaining fully optimized, secure, and responsive WordPress websites while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites with an emphasis on performance, security, and user experience
✔ Customize WordPress functionality using PHP, ensuring seamless integration with plugins and themes
✔ Develop and implement visually appealing, responsive front-end layouts
✔ Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
✔ Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring seamless functionality and security
✔ Update WordPress core, plugins, and themes to maintain stability
✔ Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high-quality performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
🔹 Minimum 2 years of experience in custom WordPress development
🔹 Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
🔹 Expertise in custom WordPress solutions (avoiding page builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery)
🔹 Knowledge of WooCommerce and custom eCommerce integrations
🔹 Experience with SEO best practices and optimization tools (Yoast, RankMath, Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix)
🔹 Familiarity with hosting management, domain setup, and WordPress migrations
🔹 Git/version control experience is a plus
