Curriculum Leader Science

Description:

• To support and maintain the academic standards in school and provide orientation to science teachers on curriculum development.
  Monitor and support the implementation of the curriculum throughout the region.
• Conduct lesson observations, notebook scrutiny, review lesson plans and attend coordination meetings.
• To visit regional schools and maintain records that provide a resource for the annual review and analysis of academic development and achievement.
• The preparation of the Academic Visit Report which guides the school leadership in the continuous development of academic standards.
• Overall quality assurance for science curriculum implementation
  Ensure strengthen The City School curriculum by reviewing it against International Curriculums.
• Training existing subject coordinators/mentors for effective curriculum implementation in schools.
• Propose and plan science development programs (for students).
  Responsible for exam paper setting per policy (MYE & EoY) and close liaison with Regional Exam Coordinator/HOD Examination.
