Description:
We are looking for a Creative Design Assistant to support our Founder and Chief Creative Officer. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the research and development of jewelry brand designs by supporting with creative strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide extensive research on luxury brands within key markets
- Assist CCO with design sketches, product suggestions and materials
- Source for manufacturers in different regions and determine best options
- Work closely with design team on concepts, material sourcing and team presentations
- Take notes during weekly team calls and share action items with the team
Qualifications
- Previous internships /experience working in jewelry design within fine jewelry
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, Microsoft Office required
- Working knowledge or major interest in fashion jewelry construction and materials
- Understanding of jewelry manufacturing and material or a big interest in learning
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong awareness of European and American fashion trends
- Motivated team player willing to learn and work
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Good follow through and sense of urgency
- Professional writing and communication skills
- Jewelry design degree a plus
