Costing & Planning Manager

 

Description:

AM Associates is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Costing & Planning to lead and oversee multiple high-impact construction projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in project costing and planning to ensure efficient resource allocation, budget management, and timely project delivery within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of project costing and financial planning across various construction projects.

  • Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with project teams.

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs align with approved budgets.

  • Analyze project progress and update plans to optimize resource use and schedule adherence.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure integrated planning and cost control.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management highlighting cost status and planning insights.

  • Drive continuous improvement in costing methodologies and planning processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in project costing and planning within the construction industry.

  • Strong expertise in construction project management tools and cost control techniques.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
