Role Description
We are looking for a highly creative and growth-focused marketer who understands how to build brands organically through social media, content, audience engagement, and creator-led marketing.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content, understands what drives engagement, and knows how to turn ideas into videos, posts, and campaigns that generate real growth. You will work closely with the founders to grow CreatorIO's presence across social platforms, build awareness for our products, and create content that resonates with creators, founders, professionals, and technology enthusiasts.
This is a remote contract/freelance role, ideal for someone who can take ownership, move quickly, and consistently execute growth-focused content strategies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute organic social media growth strategies across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms
- Create engaging short-form video content, including reels, TikToks, product demos, trend-based content, founder content, educational content, and creator-led content
- Create and publish on-camera content featuring yourself where appropriate as part of product marketing, educational content, UGC-style content, trend participation, and audience engagement initiatives
- Plan, script, produce, and publish content designed to drive reach, engagement, audience growth, and brand awareness
- Manage and grow CreatorIO's social media presence and community across multiple platforms
- Identify content trends, viral formats, and organic growth opportunities within the AI, SaaS, startup, and creator economy spaces
- Collaborate with founders to transform ideas, product updates, industry insights, and customer value propositions into compelling content
- Write high-converting captions, hooks, scripts, and social media copy
- Monitor content performance and continuously optimize content based on analytics and audience behavior
- Build and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms
- Research competitors, market trends, and emerging content opportunities
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience growing social media accounts organically
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and modern content trends
- Experience creating short-form video content that drives engagement and reach
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content for social media platforms
- Excellent content writing, copywriting, and storytelling skills
- Ability to independently plan, create, and publish content from ideation through execution
- Understanding of audience psychology, engagement strategies, community building, and organic growth tactics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
