Construction & Facilities Manager

Description:

• Research and evaluate Real Estate opportunities to ensure best locations for our Warehouse network
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with real estate agencies, landlords and contractors
• Be the point of contact for all real estate legal matters, including reviewing of tenancy agreements and managing negotiations skilfully
• Analyse and report on the performance of existing store portfolios and proactively take actions to renegotiate leases, renewals, extensions, and terminations where appropriate
• Provide support for store opening activities
• Solid working knowledge of construction processes, project manage 
• Be able to work through conceptual design with architects and designers related to a capital project is also important.
• Responsible for monitoring and executing refurbishment of locations
• Conduct inspections 

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years work-related experience in a related role
• Experience in expanding warehouse networks is a plus
• Extensive understanding of commercial  real estate and local regulations and licensing
• Expertise in contract and deal point negotiating, effective use of negotiating techniques with strong command of the industry language
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
