Construction Estimator

Description:

YODO is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with a strong background in general contracting and concrete works to join our Lahore-based team. In this role, you’ll lead cost estimation efforts for diverse construction projects across the USA and Australia, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with regional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, concrete, and equipment.
• Create competitive bid proposals in coordination with the project team.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to define project scopes.
• Stay current with construction costs and practices in USA/Australia markets.
• Support project handovers with clear documentation and hand-off reports.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of estimation experience in GC and/or concrete construction.
• Familiarity with US or Australian construction codes and pricing.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam).
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to meet tight bid deadlines.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
