As a Commodity Trader, you will play a strategic and operational role in executing trades, optimizing supply chains, and developing commercial relationships across pulses, grains, edible oils, and other agri-commodities. This is an influential position ideal for a candidate with strong commercial instincts, analytical abilities, and leadership potential in commodity markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute commodity trades—handling both purchasing and selling of pulses, grains, edible oils, and other agricultural commodities.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and trading partners locally and internationally.

• Track and analyze market trends, geopolitical events, and supply-demand dynamics that influence trading strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams in logistics, finance, and compliance to ensure smooth execution and inventory optimization.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual compliance, maintaining accuracy in trade documentation and reporting.

• Mentor and guide junior traders, fostering a performance-driven and learning-oriented trading culture.

• Conduct strategic market analysis and contribute to the organization’s overall trading vision and growth plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–7 years of direct experience in commodity trading, preferably in agri-commodities such as grains, pulses, or edible oils.

• Proven ability to execute trades, manage portfolios, and deliver commercial results.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a deep understanding of trading risks and market volatility.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field.

• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
