Description:
· Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability
· Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs
· Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
· Assist in creating promotional campaigns
· Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
· Develops and maintain internal controls over the pricing activities to ensure compliance
· Training and career development of Global Pricing, Contracting and leadership team members
· Building relationships with all relevant internal customers, partners, and other stakeholders, including global partners
· Make recommendations to senior leadership about pricing strategies based on customer profiles, risk, technology and historical usage analysis
· Align the overall product(s) strategy with the Pricing and Contract Strategy at the customer level
· Implement tools to automate aftermarket pricing;
· Implement agreed recommendations from a recent pricing survey;
· Liaise with other business functions to identify and deploy operational best practices-both regionally and within individual business units.
Key Requirements:
· Have a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
· Have prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating a pricing process documentation.
· Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
· Have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Have strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail.
