Responsibilities And Impact
- Generate and qualify new business leads by thoroughly researching assigned Market Intelligence accounts and identifying key user groups within target organizations.
- Develop and execute effective outreach strategies to engage prospects, facilitating appointments with Sales Representatives, and acting as the initial point of contact for Market Intelligence.
- Cultivate and nurture prospect relationships, guiding opportunities through the sales funnel, and analyzing sales pipeline reports to drive strategic initiatives.
- Continuously expand product and business development knowledge, staying abreast of market trends, tools, and techniques to effectively match S&P Global solutions to client needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate management of client data within CRM systems, collaborating with peers to share best practices and contribute to overall sales strategy.
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 1-3 years of experience in telemarketing or telephonic customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate informative two-way conversations with prospects, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for engaging senior-level audiences.
- A proven track record of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets, including the ability to effectively handle challenging situations and objections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM databases such as Salesforce.com.
- We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
